What does the Google Search Console integration do?

It connects your Search Console property to AI Rank Lab with read-only access and runs seven GSC Mastery tools on the data: Overview, MCP Command Center, Cannibalization Matrix, Content Decay Radar, CTR Opportunities, Algorithm Impact and URL Ranking Analyzer.

Is there an AI tool for Google Search Console?

Yes. MCP Command Center lets you ask questions about your Search Console data in plain English, and the other GSC Mastery tools use AI to explain cannibalisation, decay, CTR gaps and update impact.

Can I use Search Console data in Claude through MCP?

Yes. The AI Rank Lab MCP connector includes gsc-performance and gsc-sites, which read the property you connected here. Both are free to call.

Can AI Rank Lab change anything in my Search Console?

No. The only Search Console permission requested is webmasters.readonly, so it cannot add users, submit sitemaps or change settings.

Can it import the Generative AI performance report?

No. Google does not offer an API or export for that report. AI Rank Lab measures AI answers directly instead, with the AI Overview tracker, AI Mode tracker and brand visibility.

How does Content Decay Radar decide a page is decaying?

It fits a linear trend to 12 weeks of daily clicks for each URL and flags pages whose trend is falling, rather than reacting to one bad week.

Do domain properties work?

Yes. Both domain properties (sc-domain:) and URL-prefix properties that your Google account can access are listed when you connect.
