AI Bots Tracker

Track how AI bots like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini crawl your website in real-time

The AI Bots Tracker shows which AI crawlers and assistants visit your website. Install the tracking script from the setup sheet in your site's <head> (there are guides for HTML, WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Squarespace), verify it, and the dashboard lists visits by bot, the pages each bot reads, and the trend over the last 7, 14, 30 or 90 days.

Set Up AI Bot Tracking

Install the tracking script and start collecting data

  1. Go to AI Bots TrackerNavigate to "AI Bots Tracker" in the sidebar. If your domain is not yet verified, a setup sheet will automatically open.
  2. Copy the Tracking ScriptThe setup panel shows your unique tracking script with your Tracking ID. Copy the script snippet provided.
  3. Install on Your WebsitePaste the tracking script in your website's <head> section. The setup panel includes specific instructions for HTML, WordPress, Shopify, Wix, and Squarespace.
  4. Verify InstallationClick "Verify" to confirm the script is correctly installed. On success, your domain status changes to "Verified & Active".

View Analytics

Understand your AI visibility data

  1. Overview CardsAt the top of the page, view summary cards showing total visits, unique AI bots detected, top pages visited, and tracking status.
  2. Daily Traffic ChartThe Overview tab shows a chart of AI bot visits over time. Use the date range selector to view data for the last 7, 14, 30, or 90 days.
  3. Bot BreakdownSee which AI bots are visiting your site most — displayed as a breakdown chart showing visits from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and other AI crawlers.
  4. Top PagesView which pages on your site receive the most AI bot visits, helping you understand what content AI engines find most valuable.
  5. Top ReferrersSee where AI bot traffic is coming from — which AI platforms and services are crawling your content.
  6. AI Bot Analysis TabSwitch to the "AI Bot Analysis" tab for deeper insights into bot behavior patterns, visit frequency, and crawl patterns.
  7. Page Analytics TabThe "Page Analytics" tab provides page-level metrics showing which specific pages are performing best in AI visibility.
