Morse Code Audio Decoder
Upload a recording or record Morse code from your microphone and get the message as text. The decoder also reports the speed in words per minute, the tone frequency and how sure it is of the result.

MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG, up to 120 seconds.
How it works
Add the audio
Drop in an MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG file, or record from your microphone. Your browser converts it to a small mono WAV first.
Check the clip
The decoder takes one short recording at a time. Play it back to make sure it is the right clip.
Decode it
The server finds the tone, measures the dot length and turns the dots and dashes into letters.
Copy or save the result
Copy the text or the Morse, download it as .txt, or play the Morse back to compare it with the recording.
Price in credits
You pay only for what you download or decode, from the same credit balance as the rest of AI Rank Lab. Nothing renews, and a failed job is not charged.

How do I convert Morse code audio to text?
Upload the recording above or record it with your microphone, then choose Decode audio. The decoder finds the tone, measures how long each beep and gap lasts, and turns the dots and dashes into letters. You get the text, the Morse code, the speed and the tone frequency.
Which audio formats can I upload?
Any format your browser can play, which covers MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG and WebM in current browsers. The file is converted to a mono WAV on your device before it is sent, and a recording can be up to 120 seconds long.
Can it decode Morse code from my microphone?
Yes. Choose Record from microphone, play the Morse near your device and stop when it ends. Turn off noise cancellation if your headset has it, because it can remove the tone along with the noise.
Why did the decoder find no signal?
It needs a single steady tone that is louder than the background. Music, speech over the tone, heavy static or two stations at once can hide it. If no signal is found, you are not charged; try a cleaner or shorter clip.
How accurate is the Morse code decoder?
Machine-sent code at a steady speed with little noise decodes very well. Hand-keyed code with uneven spacing, weak signals and very high speeds are harder, so the result shows a confidence score, and you can play the decoded Morse back to check it.
How much does decoding cost?
Each decoded recording costs 20 credits from your AI Rank Lab balance. A recording with no usable signal costs nothing. New accounts get 100 free credits.
