Split PDF cuts one PDF into several smaller PDFs. There are three ways to split. Custom ranges makes one file per range you type, so 1-3, 5, 8- gives three PDFs: pages 1 to 3, page 5 alone, and page 8 to the end. Every N pages makes equal chunks, for example every 2 pages for double-sided forms, with the last file holding whatever is left. Every page makes one PDF per page.
Before anything is written, the page previews show a File 1, File 2… badge on each page, so you can see exactly where every page will end up, and pages you left out of your ranges are shown faded. The tool starts with the PDF split in half, so the main button works without typing anything. The parts are written in your browser with pdf-lib and come as separate downloads or one ZIP.
Honest limits: each part is a full-quality copy of its pages, but bookmarks from the original are not carried into the parts, and links that jumped to a page now in another part stop working. Ranges can overlap if you want the same page in two files. Locked PDFs have to be unlocked first, and files up to 200 MB are accepted.
