A CSV to Markdown table converter turns rows of comma-separated (or tab-, semicolon- or pipe-separated) data into a Markdown table you can paste into a README, a GitHub issue, a docs page or a note. Paste the data, open a .csv file, or copy a range of cells from Excel or Google Sheets and paste; the Markdown table appears straight away.
The delimiter is detected automatically (cells copied from a spreadsheet are tab-separated) and can be set by hand. Quoted fields are read correctly, including commas, doubled quotes ("") and line breaks inside quotes. You choose whether the first row is the header (otherwise Column 1, Column 2… are added), the column alignment, and whether the pipes are padded to line up.
Limits: everything is treated as text, so numbers aren't reformatted, and very wide tables are hard to read in Markdown even when they render.
