A Markdown to Word converter turns a .md file, or Markdown copied from ChatGPT, GitHub or a docs site, into a Microsoft Word document you can edit and share. This one builds a real .docx (Office Open XML) file in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
Markdown headings become Word's Heading 1 to Heading 6 styles, so the Navigation pane and an automatic table of contents work straight away. Bulleted, numbered and nested lists become real Word lists, tables become editable Word tables with a shaded header row and the column alignment from your Markdown, and bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code and links are kept. Code blocks use a monospaced font on a grey background, block quotes are indented with a rule, and task-list items get ☐ and ☑ boxes. You pick the font, size (10 to 14 pt), page size (A4 or US Letter) and file name.
Limits: images become clickable links labelled with their alt text, because a browser can't download images from other sites into the file. Raw HTML is reduced to its text. Mermaid diagrams and LaTeX maths stay as code. If you need the older Word 97-2003 format, the same page can download a .doc.
