Mute Video removes every sound track from a video and keeps the picture. It doesn't re-encode anything: FFmpeg copies the video stream into a new file of the same format and leaves the sound out, so the picture is bit-for-bit identical, the recording date is kept and even a long video finishes in a few seconds.
It works with MP4, MOV (including HEVC video from iPhones, which stays playable on Apple devices), M4V, WebM, MKV, AVI, 3GP, MPEG and other common formats, up to 500 MB each and 10 videos per run. Everything happens in your browser, so the files never leave your device.
Limits: this removes all sound. It can't remove only background noise, music or one voice while keeping the rest; that needs an audio editor. If you only need part of the video, trim it first with Trim Video.
