PDF to PNG saves the pages of a PDF as PNG images. PNG is lossless: every pixel is stored exactly, so small text, thin lines, charts and diagrams stay razor-sharp with none of the blocky smudging JPG compression can add. That makes PNG the right pick for screenshots of documents, slides you will edit in a design tool, technical drawings, or pages you want to annotate.
The tool renders each page with pdf.js at 72, 150 or 300 DPI and shows the pixel size of page 1 before you start, so you know what you will get. Choose all pages or only some, by typing a range or tapping thumbnails. A single page downloads as one PNG; more pages arrive as a ZIP. Protected PDFs open after you enter the password.
Limits: PNG files are larger than JPG, often three to ten times larger for photo-heavy pages, so pick PDF to JPG when file size matters more than sharpness. Pages are drawn on a white background, as they look in a PDF viewer, so the PNGs are not transparent. Text in the images can't be selected or edited.
