Brand memory

DefinitionBrand memory is the profile of your brand (exact name, voice, audience and key facts) that AI Rank Lab's content writer uses so articles describe you correctly.

On first use for a domain it reads up to 12 pages of your site, such as the homepage, about, pricing and product pages. Your brand name is resolved from your own setting first, then your structured data and page metadata, before any AI is involved; tone, audience and positioning come from one AI pass. The profile is rebuilt after 30 days or on demand, and building it costs no credits.

A field you edit by hand survives the automatic 30-day rebuild. In the current version the manual refresh button (Re-read the website) can replace your edits, so check the name after a refresh; a Brand Name set in Settings → Account → Branding always wins. See Brand memory: name, voice and facts.
