iPhones can't import a CSV contact list, and Android and Google prefer vCard too. This converter turns a spreadsheet of contacts, a CSV, a TSV or the first sheet of an Excel file, into a single .vcf file with one card per row, in vCard 3.0, the version iPhone Contacts, Android and Google Contacts all import.
It matches your columns to contact fields automatically by reading the header row (Name, First Name, Mobile, Phone, Email, Company, City, Birthday and common variants, including Google and Outlook export headings). Each match is shown in a mapping panel where you can change it or mark a column as not used. Separate columns for mobile, work, home and other phones are kept with their types, several values in one cell separated by ::: (as in Google exports) become several numbers, and rows with no name, phone or email are skipped. If your list has no header row, the tool spots email and phone columns from the values.
Limits: one address per contact is supported, and birthdays are written only when they are in year-month-day form (other formats go into Notes, because 03/04 means different days in different countries). Contact photos and groups can't come from a CSV. The output is one .vcf file; very large lists (tens of thousands of contacts) import more reliably through Google Contacts than straight onto an iPhone.
