Edit PDF lets you add new content to the pages of a PDF: text boxes in three standard fonts, images (JPG, PNG, WebP), rectangles with or without a fill, white-out boxes, straight lines, arrows and see-through highlights. You open the file, pick a tool, click or drag on the page, and then move, resize or restyle anything you added until it looks right. Undo and redo cover every step, and each object has exact position fields in points if you need to line things up.
The pages are drawn in your browser with pdf.js, and your changes are written into the PDF with pdf-lib when you press Apply changes and download. Text you add stays real, selectable text in the saved file. Highlights use a multiply blend, so the words underneath stay readable. Rotated and cropped pages are handled, so objects land exactly where you placed them.
The honest limit: this tool adds content on top of the page. It can't rewrite the text that is already in the PDF. To change a word, cover it with white-out and type the new word over it. White-out hides content on screen and in print, but the original text is still inside the file and can be copied out, so use Redact PDF when something must really be removed. Text with characters the standard PDF fonts can't show (Hindi, Chinese, emoji) is added as a sharp image instead of selectable text.
