A Markdown editor lets you write plain text with light formatting symbols (# for headings, ** for bold, - for lists) and see the formatted result as you type. This editor shows the Markdown on the left and a live preview on the right, renders GitHub Flavored Markdown (tables, task lists, strikethrough, fenced code) and keeps your draft in your browser so a refresh doesn't lose it.
The toolbar inserts headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, links, images, bulleted, numbered and task lists, quotes, code blocks, tables and dividers around your selection. Ctrl or ⌘ with B, I or K does bold, italic and link. Switch between Split, Write and Preview views; the footer counts words, characters, lines and reading time.
When you're done, download a .md file, download a standalone .html page with GitHub-style formatting, copy the HTML, or copy as rich text so the formatting pastes straight into Google Docs, Word, Notion or Gmail. Limits: the preview doesn't run Mermaid diagrams or LaTeX maths, and the draft lives only in this browser (clearing site data removes it).
