This tool puts your signature on a PDF without printing and scanning it. Create the signature one of three ways: draw it with a mouse, pen or your finger; type your name and pick one of four handwriting styles; or upload a photo or scan of your signature on paper, and the tool makes the white paper transparent so only the ink is placed. Then drag it to the right spot on any page, resize it with the corner handle, add it to as many pages as you need, and add today's date in the format you prefer.
Everything can also be done from the keyboard: select a signature and move it with the arrow keys, resize it with + and -, or type its exact position in millimetres. The signature is added to the PDF as an image and the date as text, and the rest of the document is left as it was.
Important: this is a visual electronic signature, the same as signing a printout. It isn't a certificate-based digital signature, so it doesn't lock the document against later changes or cryptographically prove who signed. That is fine for most everyday forms, offer letters, NDAs and invoices, but some government, court and banking processes require a certificate-based signature (for example Aadhaar eSign in India or a qualified signature in the EU).
