What is a text to PDF converter?

Text to PDF turns plain text into a tidy PDF that anyone can open, print or attach. Paste or type text, or open a .txt, .md, .csv, .log or code file, and the tool lays it out on real pages with the font size, margins, line spacing and page size you choose. The text in the PDF stays real text, so it can be selected, copied and searched.

Unicode is handled properly. The tool embeds Noto fonts into the PDF and shapes each script correctly, so Hindi and Marathi (Devanagari), Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam print with their joined letters and vowel signs, alongside English, accented European languages, Cyrillic and Greek. Only the fonts your text needs are loaded. A monospace option keeps columns aligned for code, logs and fixed-width tables, long lines wrap at word boundaries, and page numbers are optional.

Limits: Markdown and HTML are printed as plain text (the # and * characters stay; they aren't turned into formatting). Arabic, Urdu, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai and emoji aren't supported yet, and the tool warns you before converting if your text contains them. Text files up to 5 MB.

Why use a text to PDF converter?

Printing to PDF from a text editor often breaks Indian-language text, cuts long lines or needs a desktop app. This tool gives you control over the layout, handles Hindi and other Indian scripts correctly, and runs entirely in your browser, so notes, logs and drafts aren't uploaded anywhere.

How do I convert a TXT file to PDF?

Press Open .txt or .md and choose the file, or paste its text into the box. Pick the font size and page size, then press Create PDF and download the result.

Does it work with Hindi and other Indian languages?

Yes. Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit and Nepali (Devanagari), Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Punjabi (Gurmukhi), Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam are drawn with embedded Noto fonts, so conjuncts and vowel signs join correctly and the text can be copied from the PDF.

Is the text in the PDF selectable and searchable?

Yes. The PDF contains real text with an embedded font, not a picture of the text, so you can select, copy and search it in any PDF reader.

Can I convert Markdown to a formatted PDF?

Markdown files open fine, but they are printed as plain text: headings keep their # signs and bold text keeps its asterisks. Choose the monospace font if you want it to look like the source file.

Which languages aren't supported?

Right-to-left scripts (Arabic, Urdu, Hebrew), Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai and emoji. If your text contains them, the tool lists the characters before you convert, and they print as question marks.

Is my text uploaded?

No. The PDF is built in your browser. Only the fonts your text needs are downloaded from our site; your text itself never leaves your device.

Can I use it on iPhone or Android?

Yes. Paste text from Notes or any app, or open a .txt file from Files, then tap Create PDF. The PDF can be saved to Files or shared straight away.

Is Text to PDF free?

You get one free run of this tool per day. After that, each PDF costs credits from a free AI Rank Lab account. Changing settings and the preview don't use a run.
