WebP to PNG converts WebP images into PNG, the lossless format that design tools, presentation software and most editors open without trouble. The conversion keeps transparency, so logos, stickers and cut-out product images saved from websites stay see-through.
PNG is lossless, so no further quality is lost in the conversion: the PNG shows exactly what the WebP showed. There is no quality setting to worry about. If the WebP was lossy, its compression is baked in, and the PNG keeps it as is. Because PNG stores every pixel, the PNG is often larger than the WebP, sometimes several times larger for photos.
Animated WebPs, such as some stickers, become a still PNG of the first frame. You can optionally set a maximum width or height to shrink large images during the conversion. Images above about 16.7 megapixels are scaled down to fit the browser's canvas limit.
