Tracking tag

DefinitionThe tracking tag is the small JavaScript snippet you add to your site so AI Rank Lab can record AI-referred visitors and AI agents that load your pages in a browser.

You copy it from the AI bot tracker, paste it into your site's HTML (or switch on the visibility tracker in the WordPress plugin), then click Verify Installation. Verify can pass on a test visit AI Rank Lab creates itself, so check that your own page views appear too. The same tag powers CRM features such as session recordings and heatmaps when you turn them on.

Because it runs in the browser, crawlers that don't execute JavaScript, such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, never load it. Tracking is billed per block of requests and pauses when your credit balance reaches zero. See Add your domain and install the tracking tag.
