Webhook
DefinitionA webhook is an HTTP request one system sends to another when something happens. AI Rank Lab uses one to deliver a finished article to your website when you publish.
On publish, AI Rank Lab sends a signed POST to an endpoint you control, carrying the article HTML, title, meta fields, FAQs, JSON-LD and images. The request is signed with a secret shown once when you save the webhook, so your site can check it really came from AI Rank Lab. Failed deliveries are retried a few times with increasing delays, using the same idempotency key so a retry doesn't create duplicates.
WordPress sites can use the plugin, which sets the webhook up for you; any other CMS can use a custom receiver. Publishing is free. See Custom webhooks for any CMS.

- API key: An API key is the credential that lets your own scripts, the MCP server and the WordPress plugin act on your AI Rank Lab account. It comes as a key plus a secret.
- JSON-LD: JSON-LD is the most common format for structured data: a `<script type="application/ld+json">` block that describes a page's facts separately from its visible HTML.
