In shortAfter the AI content writer finishes, you edit the draft in the studio, click Re-score (free) to update its citation potential, AI citation readiness and on-page SEO scores, and use Ask AI on selected text to expand, simplify or improve it. Every save is kept in Version History, so you can restore any earlier draft. AI edits and images are charged per use; check the cost table, because some actions charge without a confirm dialog.

What happens after the article is written

A generated article is a first draft, not a finished page. The studio gives you a rich-text editor, three scores that tell you what to improve, AI tools for rewriting selected passages, header and in-article images, editable metadata, and a full version history. This lesson walks through each one and what it costs.

Read the Citation & SEO scores panel

The Citation & SEO scores panel sits in the right-hand column. It holds three separate scores, each out of 100:

ScoreWhat it measuresHow to use it
LLM Citation PotentialA prediction of how likely AI engines are to cite this draft, rated high, medium or low, with a confidence percentage and a factor-by-factor breakdownRead the Risk and Strength lines. If the article came from a brief, it also shows the brief's predicted score next to the draft's
AI Citation ReadinessEight checks: structured data, statistics, sourced citations, direct answers, freshness, fluency, structure, and coverage compared with the cited pagesOpen it and work on the lowest category first; the suggestions list says what is missing
On-page SEOA classic on-page check of the draftFix the top suggestions, then re-score
Predicted, not guaranteed

The panel itself says predicted, not guaranteed. These scores are the writer's own and are calculated differently from the AEO and GEO checker, so the same page can score differently in each tool. Use them to compare drafts of one article, not as a promise of citations.

Click Re-score after you edit. It saves the editor content first, then rescoring runs on the saved draft. It is free, and for older drafts it also builds the structured data shown under Structured data (JSON-LD).

Rewrite passages with Ask AI

  1. Select the textHighlight at least a sentence in the editor. The rewrite actions need at least 10 characters selected; Humanize needs at least 50.
  2. Open Ask AIClick Ask AI in the editor toolbar and pick an action: Expand, Shorten, Improve, Fix Grammar, Add Examples, Make Persuasive, Simplify or SEO Optimize. The selection is replaced with the rewritten text.
  3. Humanize or check the whole articleFurther down the same menu: Humanize rewrites the selection to sound more natural. Make Undetectable rewrites the whole article in several passes and takes one to two minutes. Detect AI estimates how AI-like the text reads.
  4. Re-scoreClick Re-score to see whether the change helped.
Ask AI charges without a confirm dialog

The Ask AI actions are charged the moment you click, with no price shown first. Most use the improve-a-section price, but SEO Optimize is charged at the higher auto-fix price. Make Undetectable asks for confirmation but does not show the price; it is charged at the humanize price. In the current version, Humanize on a selection and Detect AI are not charged. Check the cost table below before you click.

Version history

The editor autosaves, and Save Draft saves on demand. Click the clock icon (Version History) to see every snapshot with its time, its source (Autosave, Manual save, AI generated, Auto AI Fix or Restored), its word count and an excerpt. Click Restore on any version. Your current content is checkpointed first, so a restore never loses work.

Images and metadata

  • Generate Header Image and + Mid-Article Image create an AI image for the article. A confirm dialog shows the price and your balance. The job runs on the server, so you can leave the page while it works.
  • SEO & AEO Metadata holds the meta title (counter to 60), URL slug, meta description (counter to 160), H1, canonical URL, excerpt, categories, tags, author and social share image. Click Save metadata after editing.
  • Structured data (JSON-LD) shows the schema graph that is sent with every publish.

Auto-fix and LLM citation research

Two paid tools are not in the current studio. Auto AI Fix to 90+ (rewrites the draft to raise its SEO score) and AI citation research (a live per-engine citation check for the article's keyword) only exist in the older wizard at /dashboard/seo-writer. For most people, a brief from Action plan plus Ask AI and Re-score covers the same ground.

Check yourself

1. You edited the article by hand. How do you see whether the scores improved, and what does it cost?
2. Which Ask AI action is charged at the higher auto-fix price?
3. You restore an older version. What happens to your current text?
