In shortSettings holds everything about your account: Account (profile, branding, notifications, password, data export and deletion), API Keys, Plans, Coins & Credits, Domains, Team Access and Referrals. Domains is where you add, rename, pause and delete the websites you work on; adding one is free. Pick the active domain in the selector at the top of the dashboard, because most tools work on the selected domain.

What Settings is for

You set most things once and come back rarely: to add a client's website, change who gets emails, rotate an API key or download your data. Open Settings from your account menu. /settings takes you straight to Account, and a left-hand menu lists every page.

The Account page

  • Profile: Full Name, Company Name, Company Size, Industry, Timezone and Language, with Save Changes and Save Language. Your email address is shown but can't be changed here.
  • Branding: your logo, name and colour for reports and shared dashboards. See White-label branding.
  • Coins: your balance and any active credit packages with their dates.
  • Notifications: switches for Email Notifications, Daily Reports and Weekly Reports.
  • Sitemap: store your site's sitemap URL.
  • Security: Change Password, then Data Management with Export Data and Delete Account.
Deleting your account

Delete Account asks for your current password and signs you out for good. Export your data first with Export Data, which downloads a JSON file. Unused credits, shares and API keys are not refunded or handed over. If you deleted by mistake, contact us quickly.

Managing domains

A domain is one website, such as example.com. Almost every tool, from brand visibility to the AI bot tracker, reads the domain chosen in the selector at the top of the dashboard. Domains you own appear first; domains others have shared with you appear in a second group.

  1. Open DomainsGo to Settings → Domains. The page is called My Domains and lists each domain as a card with badges: Verified or Unverified (the tracking tag), Paused if you paused it, and Default on the first one.
  2. Add a domainClick Add Domain, enter the Domain URL without https://, an optional Project Name and Description, and click Add Domain. It's free. AI Rank Lab creates a tracking ID for it straight away.
  3. Rename or describe itClick the pencil button to open Edit Domain. You can change the name and description. The domain URL itself can't be changed; to fix a typo, add the correct domain and delete the wrong one.
  4. Verify, pause or deleteVerify takes you to the tracking setup (see Add your domain and install the tracking tag). Pause marks a domain inactive and greys out its Scan Website and Track Visibility shortcuts; Activate brings it back. The bin button deletes a domain. The first, default domain has no delete button.
The Auto-Scan button

Each card has an Auto-Scan On / Off button labelled as a weekly auto-scan switch. In the current version it only saves a preference, and no other screen schedules repeat scans either, so re-scan pages by hand when you want fresh results. See Bulk and scheduled scans.

Revoke shares before deleting a domain

Deleting a domain doesn't remove the team shares that point at it. Revoke them in Settings → Team Access first so your teammates aren't left with a broken entry.

How to organise domains

Add one domain per website you report on. Subdomains that are really separate sites, such as a help centre or a shop on its own subdomain, are worth adding separately so their tracking, audits and prompts don't mix. Give each a clear Project Name, for example the client's name, because that is what you'll look for in the domain selector.

Keep your own main site first. It becomes the Default domain, which the dashboard falls back to when the selected domain no longer exists, and it can't be deleted from this page. Before running any paid tool, glance at the domain selector: results are saved to the domain that was selected when you ran it.

What teammates can and can't open

People you share a domain with work inside your domain, but they can't open your Settings, billing, credit or referral pages. Those always belong to the account owner. Their own Settings pages show their own account.

Check yourself

1. You typed a domain with a spelling mistake. How do you fix it?
2. Which tool does a domain's Auto-Scan button currently control?
3. Before deleting a domain you shared with a client, what should you do?
