In shortAI Rank Lab helps a website get mentioned and cited in AI answers (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode) and rank in Google. The dashboard has five areas: AI search to measure and audit, SEO to fix and research, Content to write and publish, Analytics for Search Console and GA4, and CRM and email to turn visitors into leads. Most people start in AI search.

The problem AI Rank Lab solves

More people now ask an AI assistant instead of typing a search. The assistant reads a handful of pages, writes one answer and names a few brands. If your site isn't one of the sources it reads, or your brand isn't one of the names it gives, you are invisible for that question, even if you rank well in Google.

AI Rank Lab does three jobs: it measures whether AI engines mention and cite you, it shows why (which pages they cite instead, and what's missing on yours), and it helps you fix it by writing and publishing content and cleaning up technical issues.

  1. AI searchAre ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers mentioning and citing you? Audits, brand visibility, AI bot tracker, progress reports.
  2. SEOCan search engines crawl and rank you? Site audit, SEO analyzer, URL audit, Core Web Vitals, keyword, SERP and backlink research.
  3. ContentWrite and publish pages that answer the questions. AI content writer, Autopilot, WordPress and webhooks, llms.txt and schema.
  4. AnalyticsWhat is traffic doing? Search Console and GA4 connected, with analyses and chat.
  5. CRM and emailTurn visitors into leads. Forms, contacts, campaigns, recordings and heatmaps.
The five areas of the dashboard sidebar, in the order they appear.

The five areas, one by one

1. AI search

Start here. The AEO and GEO checker scores any page for AI readiness. Brand visibility runs the questions you choose (we call them prompts) on six AI engines and records whether you were mentioned, where, in what tone and which URLs were cited. Action plan turns a question you are losing into a prioritised list of topics to write. The AI bot tracker counts visitors that AI assistants send to your site, and Progress reports compare two points in time for a client-ready PDF.

Prompts run when you run them

Brand visibility does not re-run your prompts on its own. You run them when you want fresh data. The only automatic re-check is the weekly citation tracker you can switch on for a prompt in Action plan.

2. SEO

Classic search still feeds AI answers, because many engines search the web before they answer. This area has five audits (Site audit, SEO analyzer, Complete URL audit, Core Web Vitals and E-com AEO and GEO), three research tools (Keyword research, SERP analysis, Backlink checker) and a directory of free tools.

3. Content

The AI content writer writes articles grounded in the pages AI engines already cite for a question, keeps your brand voice and plans internal links. WordPress and webhooks publishes them to your site. Autopilot is a chat agent that runs AI Rank Lab tools for you and hands back files. The Schema and AI files tools generate llms.txt, FAQ schema and XML sitemaps.

4. Analytics

Connect Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 to read your data inside AI Rank Lab, ask questions about it in plain English, and run focused analyses such as content decay, keyword cannibalisation, CTR opportunities and revenue leaks.

5. CRM and email

Capture leads with forms, keep contacts in lists and tags, send campaigns through your own SMTP account, and watch session recordings and heatmaps to see how visitors behave.

How you pay for it

Almost everything runs on one credit balance; a few older tools still use a separate legacy coin wallet. Running a tool costs credits and most tools show the price before you run; reading results you already have is free. New accounts get free credits when they finish onboarding, enough for a page audit or one prompt on one AI engine, not both. Lesson 4, How credits work, covers this properly.

Other ways to use AI Rank Lab

  • Chrome extension: run checks on whatever page you're viewing. See The Chrome extension.
  • WordPress plugin: receive published articles and, optionally, add the tracking tag. See The WordPress plugin.
  • API and MCP server: use the same tools from your own scripts, or from Claude and Cursor. See API and MCP for developers.
  • Team sharing: share one domain with a teammate or client, with a role. See Share a domain.

Welcome to the AI Rank Lab Academy. In the next few minutes you'll get a map of the whole product, so you always know which part to open. Here's the problem we solve. More and more people ask an AI assistant instead of searching. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers read a few pages, write one answer and name a few brands. If your site isn't one of the pages they read, or your brand isn't one of the names they give, you're invisible for that question, even if you rank well in Google. AI Rank Lab does three jobs. It measures whether AI engines mention and cite you. It shows you why, by listing the pages they cite instead. And it helps you fix it, by writing and publishing content and cleaning up technical problems. Look at the sidebar. It has five areas. First, AI search. This is where most people start. The AEO and GEO checker scores a page for AI readiness. Brand visibility runs the questions you choose, we call them prompts, on six AI engines, and records whether you were mentioned, where, in what tone, and which pages were cited. One thing to remember: prompts run when you run them. The only automatic re-check is the weekly citation tracker you can switch on in Action plan. Second, SEO. Many AI engines search the web before they answer, so classic SEO still matters. Here you'll find five audits, keyword, SERP and backlink research, and a set of free tools. Third, Content. The AI content writer drafts articles based on the pages AI engines already cite, in your brand's voice, and WordPress and webhooks publishes them. Autopilot is a chat agent that runs the tools for you. Fourth, Analytics. Connect Google Search Console and GA4, then ask questions about your data or run focused analyses like content decay and revenue leaks. Fifth, CRM and email. Capture leads with forms, send campaigns from your own email account, and watch recordings and heatmaps. Almost everything is paid from one credit balance. Running a tool costs credits, and most tools show you the price first. Looking at results you already have is free. In the next lesson, we'll create your account and walk through onboarding.
